BOARD OF COL�tiTY CONMISSIONERS <br />COL �T ' OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2016 - <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING FUNDING FOR GRANTS PURSUANT TO LAtiti AND <br />JUSTICE COUNCIL RECOiNLYIENDATIONS ON SPENDING OF 1/10TH OF 1% SALES <br />TAX RESERVES <br />%NIEREAS : The Kittitas County Law and Justice Council met at their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on September 21, 2016, and voted unanimously for the below described funding <br />recommendations; and <br />`NEREAS: These expenditures shall be made from the 1 / 10th of 1% sales tax reserve account <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners for spending on special <br />projects to foster cooperation, sharing of resources and enhancement of criminal <br />justice projects within Kittitas County; and <br />WHEREAS: Funding is to be made available January 1, 2017 except where noted as available <br />upon approval of this resolution; and <br />tiEREAS: The amount available for 2017 grants is approximately $30,000.00; Estimated <br />balance in the grant funds is approximately $91,600.00 after 2016 Grant <br />obligations and maintaining $30,000.00 in reserve for the Range Project. The <br />following grants are recommended for approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />hereby adopts the following funding recommendations as made by the Kittitas County Law and <br />Justice Council and these expenditures shall be made from the 1/101h of 1% sales tax reserve <br />account. <br />17-1 Youth Services-Kittitas County $55000.00 <br />Operational expenses <br />17-3 Prosecutor's Office $31100.00 <br />Facilities door <br />17-4 CASA $21600.00 <br />CASA Training and support <br />17-5 City of Roslyn $ 870.34 <br />Pedestrian Warning signs <br />17-6 Cascade Field & Stream $35000.00 <br />Range road work <br />17-7 Upper District Court $1,341.99 <br />LCD Projector <br />
