AGENDA DATE: April 4, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider two Appointments to the Planning Commission Dist. #1
Vacancies & Authorize the Chair to Sign Letters of appointment.
BACKGROUND: Currently there are 2 vacant positions on the Kittitas County
Planning Commission Dist. #1.
INTERACTION: Mary Monahan Application submitted on 3-15-2017.
Donald Chance Application submitted on 3-20-2017.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. Monahan and Mr. Chance to the vacant Dist. #1
Planning Commission seats, for a term to commence immediately
& expire on December 31, 2020 and authorize the Chair to sign
letters of appointment.
HANDLING: Staff to notify the selected candidate and notify the Clerk of the
Planning Commission, as well as update Boards and Committees
website.
