Kittitas County <br />Public Health Office <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />4/4/2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the 2017 Request for Proposals for Information and <br />Education Funds. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County contracts with the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration to provide <br />services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the county. A portion of that contract is dedicated <br />to indirect client services. Kittitas County is currently seeking proposals for informing and educating the <br />general public about developmental disabilities and related services during July 1, 2017-June 30, 2019 <br />biennium. The total funding for proposals is approximately $40,000.00 annually and is subject to change <br />due to funding availability. Funding is awarded to one or more proposal.
