KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 21, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the reappointment of Nicalee Smith <br />to the Kittitas County Housing Authority <br />Board. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: As of April 6, 2017 there will be one vacancy on <br />the Housing Authority Board. This is due to <br />Ms. Smith’s appointment potentially expiring. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: On March 1, 2017 Staff sent a letter to Ms. <br />Smith notifying her that her term on the <br />County Housing Authority was about to end. <br />On March 13, 2017 Staff received a letter from <br />Ms. Smith requesting the Board consider her <br />for another term on the Kittitas County <br />Housing Authority. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the reappointment of Ms. Nicalee <br />Smith to the Housing Authority for a 5 year <br />term effective immediately and expiring in <br />April 2022. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify applicant and the Housing <br />Authority of the Board’s Decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letter from County Staff <br /> Letter from Ms. Smith <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board
