Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />3/21/2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Consent to lease and approve resolution doing so. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />CWU purchased a building at the County's airport as part of an agreement on November 8, 2016. That <br />agreement also provided for a lease assignment and so provided that any subsequent assignment related to <br />the agreement needed consent of all the parties. CWU desires to lease a building it purchased as part of that <br />agreement. Even though the County has no legal interest in the premises being leased, to be on the safe side, <br />CWU is asking for the County's consent to the lease. There is no reason not to give such consent. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Phone calls and emails between me and CWU's AAG. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Consent to lease and approve resolution doing so. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />None <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Neil Caulkins <br />
