KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 7. 2017 <br />Resolution to Award the Bid to furnish <br />Maintenance Rock Materials for One (1) <br />Calendar Year following Contract Execution. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Maintenance <br />Rock Materials in accordance with <br />specifications. Bid packets are sent out to all <br />local businesses in order to give equal <br />opportunity. <br />Bids were opened February 23, 2017, at 2:00 <br />p.m. in the Public Works Department. <br />Two (2) bids were received and deemed <br />responsive. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Resolution to Award the Bid <br />to furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for One <br />(1) Calendar Year following Contract Execution <br />to Ellensburg Cement Products AND Granite <br />Construction Company for Schedules 'A'; 'B' <br />and 'C'. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
