AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 21, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) review and
approve the 2017 Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable
Housing Plan as recommended by the Homelessness and Affordable
Housing Committee (HAHC).
BACKGROUND: The HAHC met to review changes needed on the Homelessness and
Affordable Housing Plan. They created a subcommittee to work on
the plan and report back to the HAHC. During the regularly
scheduled meeting of the HAHC on 2-10-17, the committee reviewed
the draft Plan and went over changes to the document. They
requested the document go to the BOCC for approval during the
February 21, 2017 Agenda session.
INTERACTION: Robin Read and John Little, both members of the HAHC Sub-
Committee, met on February 14, 2017 with the BOCC to discuss the
draft Plan and get clarification on some questions.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the 2017 Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable
Housing Plan as recommended by the HAHC.
