KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 21, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) review and <br />approve the 2017 Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable <br />Housing Plan as recommended by the Homelessness and Affordable <br />Housing Committee (HAHC). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The HAHC met to review changes needed on the Homelessness and <br />Affordable Housing Plan. They created a subcommittee to work on <br />the plan and report back to the HAHC. During the regularly <br />scheduled meeting of the HAHC on 2-10-17, the committee reviewed <br />the draft Plan and went over changes to the document. They <br />requested the document go to the BOCC for approval during the <br />February 21, 2017 Agenda session. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Robin Read and John Little, both members of the HAHC Sub- <br />Committee, met on February 14, 2017 with the BOCC to discuss the <br />draft Plan and get clarification on some questions. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the 2017 Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable <br />Housing Plan as recommended by the HAHC. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Homeless and Affordable Housing Committee <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2017 Homelessness and Affordable Housing Plan <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Homeless and Affordable Housing Committee <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
