ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve 2017 #14 -LE -1 1061720-011, Mod 003
and the Cooperative Law Enforcement Annual Operating Plan & Financial Plan between
the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and the US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee
National Forest.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff s Office has worked with the US Forest
Service for several years. The purpose of this agreement is to document a cooperative
effort between the parties to enhance State and local law enforcement in connection with
activities on National Forest Service lands and provide for reimbursement to the Kittitas
County Sheriffs Office.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve 2017 #14 -LE -11061720-011, Mod 003
and the Cooperative Law Enforcement Annual Operating Plan & Financial Plan between
the Kittitas County Sheriff s Office and the US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee
National Forest.
HANDLING: Sheriff Office to provide BOCC a signed original upon receiving USFS
signature.
