If ABATE commits to the same additional level of security as in last few years. I recommend approving the event. Last year we received a noise complaint for music at 2:45 a.m. and several complaints for speeding and racing by motorcycles in the area of Sparks Road. Continued noise violations and traffic safety complaints may result in a negative recommendation for future events. Sincerely. This event has been held at this venue for several years and has generated a history of no negative impacts to County roads or the traveling public. A fee of $165.00 plus a $95.00 issuance fee shall be submitted with the Fire Marshal's Office Event Permit application. • All vendors shall have a minimum of one 2A-10B:C fire extinguisher readily available for use. Please ensure my staff and I have full access to inspect these vendors. Any LPG tank shall be secured to prevent displacement. • Please be aware of general trip hazards from extension cords, tent tie -downs, etc. Also, extension cords may not be piggy-backed/daisy-chained together. • Any generator located on site shall be inspected for proper connections and use. Please ensure my staff and I have access to all generators for inspection purposes. • Parking shall be such that fire apparatus access is maintained at all times. • The fire apparatus access roads shall remain free from obstructions. • The access roads in the overflow camper/tent camping area shall be a minimum of 20' wide. The stakes and neon string you provided worked well last year and would be a viable option this year as well. ■ Please ensure that all required permits have been issued at least 14 days prior to the event. The intent of the International Fire Code is to provide a reasonable level of life safety and property protection from the hazards of fire, explosion or dangerous conditions. The requirements listed above offer a reasonable level of fire and life safety protection for this project. There was no taxes reported 2016 for admission. According to the information online, copies attached, the cost of tickets in 2016, ranged from $30.00 to $55.00 and the 2016 event was help at Silver River Ranch in Easton, Washington. We recommend the Board of County Commissioners require ABATE to collect the Admissions Tax, register online and report the taxes collected by July 31, 2017 as required by Kittitas County Ordinance 2016-003. And, we recommend Abate report and pay taxes for the 2016 event.
