AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 7, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and
sign the 2017 Lodging Tax Services Agreements as awarded by
Resolution No. 2016-176 which was approved during the December
20, 2016 Agenda Session of the BOCC.
BACKGROUND: The Consolidated Lodging Tax work group met on November 18,
2016 in an open public meeting to deliberate and reach their final
funding recommendation which was forwarded to each legislative
body for final approval. The Group recommended allocating
$216,990.00 of Lodging Tax funds for special events and projects.
The BOCC approved disbursement of funds from the Lodging Tax
fund through Resolution No 2016-176.
INTERACTION: Kittitas County’s designation is $172,787.000, Ellensburg’s
designation is $34,303.00, Cle Elum’s designation is $7,920.00,
Roslyn’s designation is $1,980.00.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC approve and sign the attached 2017 Lodging Tax
Services Agreements 2017-001 LT through 2017-026 LT, as awarded
by Resolution No. 2016-176.
