KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />PUBLIC HEARING STAFF REPORT <br />HEARING DATE: February 7th, 2017 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Hold a Public Hearing to consider amending Kittitas <br />County Code Title 2, 4, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 fees <br />language. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works and Community Development Services <br />are currently reviewing and amending permit fees <br />department wide. It has been found that language <br />throughout the code does not accurately depict <br />current fees or the update and adoption processes for <br />fee schedules. <br />Public Works and Community Development Services <br />desire to adopt similar language used by the Kittitas <br />County Health Department such that County Code <br />will acknowledge and address fees in Title Four; and <br />that fee schedules will be adopted by Resolution of <br />the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Public Works and Community Development Services <br />suggest amending Kittitas County Code by ordinance <br />to remove applicable fee language residing <br />throughout the code and consolidating the fee process <br />and appropriate language in Title 4. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works, Community Development Services <br />RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Ordinance amending Kittitas County Code <br />as described following the Public Hearing on <br />February 711, 2017 at 2pm. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) copy of ordinance to Public Works <br />LEAD STAFF: Lucas Huck, County Engineer <br />
