KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 7h, 2017 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Authorize the Public Works Directors signature on <br />the Consultant Agreements for Professional <br />Environmental, Archaeological, and Planning <br />Services Contract <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County requires services to facilitate Road, <br />Bridge and other projects. This contract allows for <br />Public Works to retain the services from Consultants <br />for Professional Environmental, Archaeological, and <br />Planning services on an on-call basis. <br />This consultant agreement will benefit the County by <br />reducing the time and cost needed to advertise and <br />award contracts. <br />Public Works is requesting the Board authorize the <br />Public Works Director to sign the consultant <br />agreement between the County and Jacobs <br />Engineering Group. Public Works is also requesting <br />the Board authorize Director's or County Engineer's <br />signature authority to sign task orders for $50,000 or <br />below. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Public Works Director's signature on <br />the Consultant Agreements for Professional <br />Environmental, Archaeological, and Planning <br />Services Contract <br />HANDLING: Return two each Original signed documents to Public <br />Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Local Agency Standard Consultant Agreements <br />Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Lucas Huck <br />County Engineer <br />
