Request is made for a temporary moratorium <br />upon Major Alternative Energy Facilities since this is an issue that is being <br />considered within the updating of the County’s Comprehensive Plan and should be <br />determined by adopted policy regarding large scale alternative energy systems. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Prosecuting Attorney, Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution for Moratorium <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: CDS Planning Official recommends to the Board of County Commissioners to <br />approve the proposed Moratorium until policy is established and adopted by the <br />Board within its update of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Robert “Doc” Hansen, Planning Official <br />
