PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />April 18, 2017 <br />“Marsha Weyand Day” <br />In Kittitas County <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Marsha Weyand began her career with Kittitas County on April 18, 1979 as an Office Deputy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: In June 1992 Marsha was hired as an Appraiser III followed by the position of Administrative Assistant in <br />September 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: As a result of her diligent work and demonstrated ability, Marsha was elected to the position of Kittitas <br />County Assessor on January 1, 2007; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Marsha has served over 37 years with Kittitas County and has made the decision to retire on February 28, <br />2017; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Marsha’s service, dedication and commitment to Kittitas County and to the citizens of Kittitas County <br />exemplifies the spirit of public service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Marsha has left a legacy upon Kittitas County of which all citizens of Kittitas County should be proud; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Without a doubt, Marsha’s energy, knowledge and wisdom will be sorely missed by fellow employees and <br />citizens of Kittitas County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners, do hereby extend Marsha Weyand our sincere and grateful <br />appreciation for her dedicated service to Kittitas County, our congratulations on her well-earned retirement, <br />and best wishes for continued success, happiness, and good health in the years to come; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners declare Tuesday April 18, 2017 as <br />“Marsha Weyand Day” in Kittitas County, Washington. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 2017. <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br /> Paul Jewell, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Obie O’Brien, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board
