Agenda Date: December 5th, 2017
Action Requested: Request the Board of County Commissioners set a public hearing to amend
the 2017 County Budget at 2:00 pm on December 19, 2017
Background: The 2017 County budget needs to be amended due to decreases/increase programs that
have been approved by grant awards, special projects and unforeseen expenses. The
current amended county budget is $95,485,734 with the proposed amendments of the
new budget total will be $100,863,592. The list of amendment requests is attached and
the following is a total by fund.

Public Health 3,500
E911 Excise 350,000
Leased Water 25,000
Misdemeanant Probation 34,758
2016 GO Bond Debt 277,926
Courthouse Jail Construction 1,511,000
Solid Waste 150,000
Community Development Services 30,000
Water Mitigation 842,678
TOTAL 5,377,858
Recommendation: Request the Board to set a public hearing to amend the 2017 County
Budget in the amount of $5,377,858
