KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 17, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the Equitable Sharing Agreement <br />and Certification Form for FY2016. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: In 2007 the Sheriff’s Office signed an agreement with the U.S. <br />Department of Justice to be a part of the Federal Equitable Sharing Program. In addition <br />to this program an Annual Certification report needs to be completed and submitted to the <br />U.S. Department of Justice. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge the Equitable Sharing Agreement <br />and Certification Form for FY2016. <br /> <br />HANDLING: No handling. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command staff
