Special reasons for wishing to serve on the Board or Commission•
i have a vested interest in helping the homeless, i've been discouraged by the lack of .
resources available to homeless, transients and travelers. In this upper county for some tlrne
now,and I had wanted to see what the community's options and ideas were on the subject
before i found there was already committee in lace,
What advisory panels, Boards/Commissions have you previously served on?
I've served as chairman for the state of Wa. Parents AnonTmous board in Tacoma,Wa. in
1980 , Served on the Board for Christian Womens Aid in Nebraska serving_ law income
and homeless parents and children, 2001-2004 assisted rea a victims before and after
emergency rooms as an advocate.
Please list any training or experience you have that would be beneficial to serving on the Board or
Commission: i have helloed numerous individuals and families find food water, clothin ag nd
shelter in various circumstances including homelessness jobless tornado or fire victims and
battered women and children,and education of services available.
