Action Requested:
Request approval of a Resolution to correct Resolution 2016-151 for levying taxes for the County
Flood Control Zone District for municipal purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the year
2017 according to the assessed valuation as determined in the year 2016
Background:
The Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 2016-151 as part of the budget adoption
process. I received the information from the Assessor’s office and changed the resolution;
however the resolution that was presented was the incorrect resolution. The prior year levy
amount was adopted in Resolution 2016-151 was $11,348.00 and the correct amount for the
previous year’s levy is $4,190.08.
Recommendation
Approval of the Resolution to correct Resolution 2016-151 for levying taxes for the County Flood
Control Zone District for municipal purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the year 2017
according to the assessed valuation as determined in the year 2016Sign the Interlocal Agreement
