Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Date: January 17, 2017 <br /> <br />Action Requested: Request to Board to approve a Request to approve a Resolution <br />Amending Kittitas County Procedures for A Small Works and A Small <br />Purchase Roster and for Leases of Personal Property <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br /> Resolution 2010-12 needs to be updated based up the 2016 SHB 2427 <br />that was passed in 2016 increasing the limits on purchases. <br /> <br />The adjustments in the Resolution are: <br /> <br />Advertisement and formal sealed bidding for purchases of <br />materials, supplies, equipment, or services below $10,000 <br />($5,000 is the current limit which is now <br />increased to $10,000) are hereby dispensed with by order of <br />the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners as authorized by RCW <br />36.32.245(3), yet the County will attempt to obtain the lowest <br />practical price. <br /> <br />Advertisement and formal sealed bidding may be dispensed with <br />for purchases of materials, supplies, equipment, or services costing <br />between $10,000 and $50,000 (between $5,000 and $25,000 is the <br />current limit which is now increased to $10,000 and $50,000) by <br />order of the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners as <br />authorized by RCW 39.04.190. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: Request approval of Resolution Amending Kittitas County Procedures <br />for a Small Works and a Small Purchase Roster and for Leases of <br />Personal Property <br /> <br />Interaction <br /> Christopher Horner, Deputy Prosecutor <br />Prosecutor job #35659 <br /> <br />Handling: Return a copy to Judy; she will see CAMAS is updated <br /> <br />Attachments: Resolution <br /> <br />Lead Staff Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office <br />
