KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 16, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Acknowledge City Representation/Recommendation to the County <br />Airport Advisory Board and Kittitas County Law & Justice Council. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg has held representative positions on <br />various County Boards and Committees. They recently had <br />elections and new Councilmembers have been selected to <br />represent the City of Ellensburg on the County’s Airport Advisory <br />Board; Kittitas County Homelessness & Affordable Housing <br />Committee and Kittitas County Council of Governments (COG). <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Office of the Ellensburg City Manager, sent letters dated <br />January 4, & January 9, 2018, requesting the County acknowledge <br />City Councilmember Nancy Goodloe’s representation on the <br />County’s Airport Advisory Board and the Kittitas County <br />Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee and City <br />Councilmembers Mary Morgan and Nicole Klauss to the Kittitas <br />County Council of Governments (COG). <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge City Councilmember Nancy Goodloe’s <br />representation on the County’s Airport Advisory Board and the <br />Kittitas County Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee <br />and City Councilmembers Mary Morgan and Nicole Klauss to the <br />Kittitas County Council of Governments (COG). <br /> <br />HANDLING: BoCC Staff to update the County Boards and Commissions page, <br />and notify the City of the Board’s final decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letters from the Office of the City Manager, of the City of <br />Ellensburg, dated January 4 & 9, 2018. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II
