Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />September 1, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Easton <br />School District. The AFS allows for the use of 1/10th funding for contracting with a licensed <br />mental health care provider to provide mental health services to students in the Easton School <br />District. (Effective dates: 07/01/2026-06/30/2027) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Board of County Commissioners have allocated 1/10th of 1% funding to the Kittitas County <br />Schools through resolution. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Reviewed and approved by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office June 29, 2026. <br />Reviewed and approved by the Auditors Office June 29, 2026. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Easton <br />School District. The AFS allows for the use of 1/10th funding for contracting with a licensed <br />mental health care provider to provide mental health services to students in the Easton School <br />District.
