BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2026- <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF <br />UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN YAKIMA NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH SERVICES <br />AND KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, Yakima Neighborhood Health Services is a nonprofit organization which <br />administers a contract with the Washington Health Benefit Exchange (WAHBE) <br />for the purpose of providing Navigator services as described in the Affordable <br />Care Act; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Public Health Department desires to enroll as many people as <br />possible into available healthcare insurance programs when eligibility <br />requirements are met; and <br />WHEREAS, Yakima Neighborhood Health Services agrees to provide access to the Navigator <br />network at no cost and as detailed in the attached Memorandum of Understanding <br />which is attached hereto and hereby incorporated by this reference to help <br />accomplish increased insurance enrollment. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes execution of the attached Memorandum of <br />Understanding with Yakima Neighborhood Health Services. <br />DATED this day of , 2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />Clerk of the Board <br />
