RESOLUTION <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-________ <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF <br />COST PER DEPUTY FOR THE BUDGET YEAR 2026 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office provides services via contract, for which it charges <br />an hourly rate, and <br />WHEREAS, according to the United States Office of Management & Budget, to 2 CFR Part 200, <br />Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal <br />Awards (Uniform Guidance), Kittitas County Sheriff needs to adopt a rate for the Cost of a <br />Deputy; and <br />WHEREAS, the County Auditor’s Office has reviewed and approved the Cost per Deputy plan <br />and determined the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office to comply and <br />WHEREAS, the attached documentation shows the calculation rate for the Cost per Deputy as <br />per the requirements for 2 CFR Part 200, Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles <br />and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington adopts the following: <br /> Non-Federal: Federal: <br />Regular hours non-federal $130.00 Regular hours federal $113.00 <br /> Overtime hours non-federal $159.00 Overtime hours federal $142.00 <br /> <br />for the Cost per Deputy for Kittitas County Sheriff as certified by the County Auditor, effective <br />January 1, 2026. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2026. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> Cory Wright, Chairman <br /> <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ______________________ <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz
