KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 19, 2026 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Amend the Airport <br />Advisory Committee Bylaws <br />BACKGROUND: The Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) adopted <br />committee bylaws in April 2022 outlining committee <br />participation, meeting schedule(s) and member <br />expectations. <br />With the Airport Department being dissolved and moved <br />to Kittitas County Public Works, bylaw amendments <br />include removing reference to "Airport Director" and <br />updates to the committee membership. <br />At the April 22, 2026, AAC Meeting, the committee <br />approved said amendments and requested County staff <br />move the suggested amendments forward for Board <br />consideration. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works, Airport Advisory Committee <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and Sign the Resolution to Amend the Airport <br />Advisory Committee Bylaws <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Amended Bylaws; Redline Bylaws <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Director <br />
