KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 5, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the no-cost administrative <br />modification to the Contract for Law Enforcement Services Work between the Bureau of <br />Land Management and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Land Management have had <br />an extensive relationship in years past. The purpose of this Modification is to update <br />clauses in the Contract which will be effective for the life of the contract. This Contract is <br />used to obtain Law Enforcement services as needed to assist the Bureau of Land <br />Management in administration and regulation of the use and occupancy of the public <br />lands which the Bureau oversees. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: : Request to Acknowledge the no-cost administrative <br />modification to the Contract for Law Enforcement Services Work between the Bureau of <br />Land Management and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: None. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff.
