Kittitas County <br />Auditor <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />3/17/2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approval of Auditor's Office Signature on Quote for OpenGov Contracts Management Software <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />OpenGov Contracts Management software has been reviewed and recommended by an extended Central <br />Services Committee focus group. The committee identified contract management and its associated <br />workflow as an area of need for the County, and this software has been determined to be a strong solution to <br />address those challenges. Vertosoft offers the software through the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing <br />program. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Central Services Committee engaged with representatives from the Auditor, Event Center, IT, Prosecutor, <br />Public Works, Public Health, Sheriff, <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />I recommend that the Board of County Commissioners formally approve the Auditor’s Office to sign the <br />quote with Vertosoft for the purchase of OpenGov Contracts Management software, as the cost exceeds the <br />Auditor’s Office signing authority. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Please Return a Copy to Auditor's Office <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Zack DeHaven <br />
