KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE:January 6,2026 <br />ACTION REQIIESTED: Request Boards approval to set a public hearing to consider <br />surplus of county proPertY. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Solid Waste is constructing a new lower county <br />transfer station facitity. As part of the new tansfer station facility, we will be moving the <br />existing Solid Waste office and Moderate Risk Waste facility to2306 Green Ave. With <br />this move the Solid Waste Department will no longer need the property located at925 S. <br />Industrial Way. <br />The Solid Waste Department requests to set a public hearing to surplus the property <br />located at925 S.
