<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 16, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve an <br />agreement between Kittitas County and the City of Roslyn to provide <br />Library Services to County Residents for the Year 2026. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved $32,000.00 in <br />the 2026 budget for the City of Roslyn to provide library services to <br />County residents living outside the City limits and $500.00 for the <br />Summer Reading program for the period of January 1, 2026, through <br />December 31, 2026. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Agreement as approved by the Prosecutors office (11993) and the <br />budget amount has been verified by Zack DeHaven, Budget and <br />Finance Director. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize Board signature on the Agreement between <br />Kittitas County and the City of Roslyn to provide library services and <br />the Summer Reading program for the period of January 1, 2026, <br />through December 31, 2026. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 copy – Clerk of the Board <br /> 2 Originals – City of Roslyn for signature and return 1 original to the <br />Clerk of the Board. <br /> Upon receipt of fully executed Agreement, BOCC office to send a <br />copy to Lisa Bugni in the Auditor’s Office. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT 2026 Library Services Agreement between Kittitas County and the <br />City of Roslyn. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Zack DeHaven, Budget and Finance Director. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
