KITTITAS COUNTY <br />WSU EXTENSION <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 16, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge Lease Agreements between Canon <br />USA, Inc. and Kittitas County. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: WSU Extension currently owns a Canon Copier (purchased in 2013) <br />and a Canon color printer (purchased in 2014). Due to the age, high per copy <br />maintenance cost, and lack of availability of toner and replacement parts, we are <br />replacing both machines with one machine leased from Canon USA. WSU Extension has <br />conducted an evaluation of Canon USA’s machines, service agreements, and overall <br />pricing vs. another vendor, and has determined that Canon USA can best provide the <br />equipment and service needed. The machine is on the OMINA contact, whereby a formal <br />bid process is not needed. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved <br />this lease agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge Lease Agreement between Canon <br />USA, Inc. and Kittitas County. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: WSU Extension to provide a fully executed Agreement to the BOCC upon <br />signature by Canon USA. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Tip Hudson
