KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />November 4, 2025 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the bid <br />to furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for 2026. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works went out to bid for <br />the furnishing of specific snow & ice control <br />products in accordance with specifications. <br />Bids were opened on October 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. <br />in the Public Works Department and four (4) bids <br />were received. <br />Public Works recommends awarding the bid to the <br />two (2) Vendors for Item 2: Non -Corrosion <br />Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride to ensure <br />availability of product and one (1) Vendor for the <br />remaining products. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve a Resolution to Award the bid to <br />furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for 2026. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director <br />
