RESOLUTION <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025________ <br /> <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AND THE CITY OF ELLENSBURG <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Ellensburg on behalf <br />of their law enforcement agencies pursuant to the Washington Mutual Aid Peace Officers <br />Powers Act, chapter 10.93 RCW for the specific purpose of creating and maintaining a <br />multi-jurisdictional team to be hereafter known as the Kittitas County Regional Tactical <br />Response Team (KCRTRT). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY <br />ORDERED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington <br />authorizes the execution of the Interagency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s <br />Office and The City of Ellensburg that is attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this <br />reference, and which shall be forthwith filed with the Kittitas County Auditor pursuant to <br />RCW 39.34.040. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2025. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Cory Wright, Vice Chair <br /> <br /> <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_______________________ <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz
