10/07/2025 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. OCTOBER 7, 2025 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice Chairman Cory <br />Wright. Excused: Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner. <br /> <br />Others: Jeremy Johnston, Long Range Planner; Jodi Larsen, Office <br />Administrator; Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator & 3 members of <br />the public. PUBLIC HEARING 4 LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENTS CDS <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider 4 <br />land development code amendments. JEREMY JOHNSTON, LONG RANGE PLANNER reviewed a Staff Report on the <br />following proposed land development code amendments: Item 25-01, <br />Item 25-02, Item 25-03, & Item 25-04. He briefly reviewed the <br />proposed changes and asked the Board if they had any further <br />questions as they had discussed these proposals several times during <br />CDS Study Sessions. <br /> VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT asked for clarification on size allowance on <br />non-accessory storage structures under Code 25-02. JEREMY JOHNSTON, LONG RANGE PLANNER explained that structures would still be required <br />to follow existing County permit codes. <br /> THOSE PRESENT & TESTIFYING: REGINA PECKMAN asked for clarification <br />regarding whether the new County Code revisions would supersede the <br />existing codes of Homeowner Associations (HOA). It was clarified <br />that the HOA rules will still be the primary. THERE BEING NO OTHERS REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> ORDINANCE 2025-011 REVISIONS OF KITTITAS CO CODE CDS VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve Ordinance No. 2025-011, <br />Revisions of Kittitas County Code, as presented. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ <br />seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
