2025-09-23 MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />HR STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 W 5TH AVE., ROOM 108, ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 9/23/2025 <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith <br />Others Present: Therese Murphy, Andrew Yoder, Jeanne Killgore, one member of the public <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MINUTE TIME LIMIT) <br />None. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION – CITIZEN’S ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON SALARIES FOR ELECTED <br />OFFICIALS <br />The Board discussed the current applications and membership requirements of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee <br />on Salaries for Elected Officials. The Board provided direction to staff to draft a resolution to modify the <br />membership requirements to allow all five positions to be at-large. HR Director Killgore will draft a resolution <br />and bring it to the Board’s Monday morning Admin. Meeting. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION – 2026 COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT <br />The Board discussed options regarding the 2026 cost-of-living adjustment for non-union staff. The Board <br />provided direction to implement a 3% COLA increase and adopt a 2% DCP match program.
