KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA SESSION DATE: September 16, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing the Chair's <br />signature on Task Order 2025-01 with J-U-B <br />Engineering to perform engineering services for the <br />Bowers Field Hangar Taxilane Complex — Phase 1 <br />Design. <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners approved a <br />Resolution to award J-U-B Engineers the contract to be <br />the Bowers Field consultant on January 3, 2023, <br />providing general planning and engineering services. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Task Order No. 2025-01 for the design of the Hangar <br />Taxilane Complex project is being submitted for <br />consideration. J-U-B has submitted a task order in the <br />amount of $184,170.00. Concurrence has been made by <br />the FAA for the task fee for this project. <br />Project funding for Bowers Field design project <br />FAVAIP No. 3-53-0026-024-2025 has been awarded <br />and accepted by Resolution 2025-147. Funding requires <br />a 5% local match. Matching funds are available in the <br />Airport Fund. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution authorizing the Chair's signature <br />on Task Order 2025-01 with J-U-B Engineering to <br />perform engineering services for the Bowers Field <br />Hangar Taxilane Complex — Phase 1 Design. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Task Order 2025-01 <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director <br />
