KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 5, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Service Agreement <br />between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Vital Valt to manufacture and deliver a <br />Weapon Storage System in the evidence room located at the Sheriff’s Office facility. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This Professional Service Agreement with Vital Valt is for the <br />manufacturing and delivery of a Weapon Storage System to be placed in the evidence <br />room at the Sheriff’s Office facility, for the safe storage of weapons. The funds for this <br />project were awarded to the Sheriff’s Office from The Attorney General of Washington <br />through the Cy Pres Award (State v. Federal Way Discount Guns, LLC et al) <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved <br />this Professional Service Agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Vital Valt to manufacture and deliver a <br />Weapon Storage System in the evidence room at the Sheriff’s Office facility. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one signed copy to the Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
