KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: July 1, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to Consider Surplus of County <br />Equipment. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office requests a public hearing be set <br />to declare equipment surplus to the county. RCW 36.34.010 <br />authorizes the Board of County Commissioners to decide whether <br />county-owned real or personal property is surplus to the needs of the <br />County and whether disposal would be in the best interest of the <br />County. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing to Consider Surplus of County Equipment. <br /> <br />HANDLING: None <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br /> <br /> <br />
