BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - IIb <br />AUTTIORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON COUNTY ROAD <br />ADMINISTRATION BOARD RURAL ARTERIAL PROJECT AGREEMENT <br />AMENDMENT NO.2 SUPPORTING IMPROVEMENTS TO HUNGRY <br />JUNCTION ROAD, CRP 304-20 <br />WHEREAS: Improvements to Hungry Junction Road appear on the County's adopted <br />six-year transportation plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited and has received Rural Arterial Trust Account <br />(RATA) funding award from the County Road Administration Board <br />(CRAB) through the Rural Arterial Program (RAP) supporting Hungry <br />Junction Road Improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works was notified by CRAB on May 14,2025 of an increase to <br />$3,631,500 in funding had been awarded; and <br />WHEREAS: The County is required to enter into a project agreement with CRAB <br />accepting project funds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature <br />on County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Project Agteement <br />for Construction Proposal Amendment No. 2 supporting Hungry Junction <br />Improvements from mile point 0.00 - mile point 1.74, CRP 304-20. <br />DATED on this 3rd day of June, 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />to , WASHINGTON <br />A?\\ <br />oithe Julie Kjorsvik <br />/rts (.trrs!Vice-Chairman <br />ABSENT <br />() <br />E{"putyClerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner
