KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 3, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Chair's signature <br />on County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Program Project <br />Agreement, for Reecer Creek Rd over Towne Ditch project. <br />BACKGROUND: Reecer Creek Rd over Towne Ditch appears on the adopted six -year <br />transportation plan. On May 14, 2025, the County Road <br />Administration Board (CRAB) noticed Public Works of $841,360 in <br />Rural Arterial Trust Account (RATA) funding award through the <br />Rural Arterial Program (RAP). The grant supports the Reecer Creek <br />Rd over Towne Ditch project including structure replacement, road <br />widening to accommodate the continuation of a turn lane and <br />sidewalk and updating the guardrail and end treatments from mile <br />point 0.76 to mile point 0.93. Funding will be used to begin the design <br />of the improvements.
