KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />June 03, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to Approve a Professional Service Agreement with Tenelco, <br />Inc and Kittitas Couty for Land Application Services at the Ryegrass <br />Facility. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> Solid Waste is requesting approval of the professional service <br />agreement (PSA) between Kittitas County and Tenelco, Inc. This PSA <br />is for land application of septage to the Department of Ecology <br />approved fields at the Ryegrass Facility. This PSA will allow the <br />Solid Waste Department to work with Tenelco for the next 5 years for <br />land application services. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br /> The Prosecutor’s office has reviewed the PSA. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Approve the PSA between Kittitas County and Tenelco, Inc. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Auditor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> Professional Service Agreement. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br /> Patti Stacey, Director of Solid Waste. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
