<br />2025-05-13 MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />HR STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 W 5TH AVE., ROOM 108, ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 5/13/2025 <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Laura Osiadacz, Brett Wachsmith <br />Others Present: Eileen Murphy, Therese Murphy, Jeanne Killgore <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MINUTE TIME LIMIT) <br />None. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION – PUBLIC DEFENSE RULE 9 INTERN <br />Public Defense Director Murphy requested Board approval to create a Rule 9 Intern position in the Department of <br />Public Defense. She summarized that the position will be fully grant-funded and the duration of the Rule 9 Intern <br />will be for the summer months. The Board approved the request. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />The Board discussed potential updates to the membership requirements of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee on <br />Salaries for Elected Officials.
