2025-05-15 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />THURSDAY 1:00 P.M. MAY 15, 2025 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright; and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Jeanne Killgore, HR Director and one member of the <br />public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENT – Terry LaRue, expressed concerns regarding safety <br />at the Airport and reviewed the Bowers Field Hazzard Analysis. <br /> <br />At 1:03 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and <br />announced the Board would enter into an Executive Session for 10 <br />minutes, with Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board & Jeanne Killgore, <br />HR Director under RCW 42.30.110(g) To evaluate the qualifications of <br />an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a <br />public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140(4), discussion by <br />a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of <br />employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in <br />a meeting open to the public, and when a governing body elects to <br />take final action hiring, setting the salary of an individual <br />employee or class of employees, or discharging or disciplining an <br />employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting open to the <br />public. No action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 1:13 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No <br />action taken. <br /> <br />At 1:13 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess back <br />into an Executive Session for 10 minutes, with Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board & Jeanne Killgore, HR Director under RCW 42.30.110(g) <br />To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment <br />or to review the performance of a public employee.
