BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No.2o2s - TqL( <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO SIGN AN <br />AMENDMENT TO GRANT AGREEMENT NO. WRWBP-2123-KICPWD-OOO1O <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Resolution No. 2023-169 authorized the Public Works Water Resource <br />Manager to Accept Funding from the Department of Ecology to complete the water right <br />acquisltion authorized by Resolution No' 2022-140; and <br />WHEREAS: Grant agreement No. WRWBP-2123-KiCPWD-00010 was executed, as authorizedby <br />Resolution No' 2023-169; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County and the Department of Ecology are currently preparing an amendment to <br />grant agreement No. WRWBP-2 I 23 -KiCPWD-00O 1 0; and <br />WIIEREAS: This grant agreement will add $1,020,500 in budget and add the acquisition by transfer <br />and conueya:nce of water right number S4-83608-J to the scope of work; and <br />WHEREAS: Funding available through the amendment to grand agreement No. WRWBP-2723- <br />Kicpwb-gg010 would inable the Solid Waste fund to be paid for an asset transfer for <br />water right number S4-83608-J, pursuant to RCW 43'09'210(3); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RDSOLVED that the Board of county commissioners, in_the best interest <br />of the public, does authorizplhePublic Works Water Resource Manager to sign an amendment to grant <br />agreement No. WRWBP -2123 -K|CPWD-000 I 0' <br />DATED this 1't day of April 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington' <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Clerk sf the Bo4rd-Ivlandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />Commissioner
