Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />April 15, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to approve a PSA with HopeSource <br />(Behavioral Bridge Program) through the Kittitas County Mental Health Tax to support Mental <br />Health Services and Programs. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This PSA funds HopeSource's Behavioral Bridge Program as recommended by the 1/10th of 1% <br />Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Advisory Board. <br /> <br />This program will provide vulnerable clients in crisis with immediate counseling from an <br />internally contracted licensed mental health provider, as well as access to essential resources <br />including permanent housing, stable income, employment opportunities, nutritious food, family <br />and social connections, transportation, utility assistance, and physical safety. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved 04.02.25. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved 04.02.25. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to approve a PSA with HopeSource <br />(Behavioral Bridge Program) through the Kittitas County Mental Health Tax to support Mental <br />Health Services and Programs. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />N/A <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Kasey Knutson
