2025-03-17 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING WEDNESDAY 10:00 A.M. MARCH 17, 2025 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright; and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Bryan Elliott, Auditor; <br />Brian Carlson, Budget & Finance Director; Zack DeHaven, Assistant <br />Finance Director; Andrew Yoder, Finance Manager; and Reid Burbank, <br />Finance Manager. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING BUDGET PRIORITIES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:00 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting to discuss <br />budget priorities. <br /> <br />The Auditor’s office reviewed a variety of information including <br />changing this next year’s budget from three to five families: pro- <br />forma budget, and “silos”. They also reviewed the current state <br />fund balances, a recap of 2024, and recommendations including <br />financial planning and policies. They reviewed the fund balance <br />forecast and corrective actions considerations, <br /> <br />The Central Services Committee will be providing a report in April. <br />The Board provided direction to the Auditors office including <br />drafting a vacancy/roster “rules of engagement”, update running <br />estimates prior to the budget retreat, work with Treasurer’s office <br />to quantify options, facilities. <br /> <br />The meeting was concluded at 11:16 a.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> Julie Kjorsvik Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />
