CC <br />KI'I'TITA.SI COI'IYIIY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO:Kittitas County Board of County Gommissioners <br />FROM:Ryan Berge, Maintenance Manager <br />Gandie Leader, Contracts Specialist <br />DATE:February 28,2025 <br />SUBJECT: 2025 "Your Canyon for a Day" Bike Tour <br />After review of the application for the 2025 "Your Canyon for a Day" event scheduled for <br />May 1 8,2025, Public Works recommends the applicant issues advanced notification of <br />the event in the Daily Record two (2) weeks in advance in conjunction with the forty- <br />eight (48) hour advanced road closure sign posting to inform the traveling public of the <br />event. <br />The applicant indicates that the Yakima Police Department and the Yakima County <br />Sheriff's Office will provide patrol services and traffic control. <br />Public Works recommends approval of this event based on these conditions being <br />upheld. <br />Please feelfree to contact Kittitas County Public Works with any additional questions <br />you may have at 509-962-7523. <br />411 N.
