KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 18th, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to acknowledge contract between Washington <br />Association of Sheriff’s and Police Chiefs (WASPC) and The Kittitas County Sheriff's <br />Office. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) <br />and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office agree to enter into this contract for the purpose of <br />the Kittitas County Jail achieving initial Jail accreditation through the WASPC Law <br />Enforcement Accreditation Program. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to acknowledge contract between Washington <br />Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) and The Kittitas County Sheriff's <br />Office. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return 1 original back to KCSO. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: LT.
