Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />3/4/2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards approval on Resolution to Acknowledge letter and accept updated timeline. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County entered into a lease with C.R. Wales Investment LLC, (Lessee) in January 3, 2023. In the <br />lease, section 9 had a timeline for opening of the facility of September 2024. <br /> <br />The lessee has submitted a letter requesting to update the timeline for opening the facility by December 31, <br />2025 due to unforeseen delays. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />C.R. Wales Investment, and Prosecutors office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Boards signature on Resolution to Acknowledge letter and accept updated timeline. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return copy to Patti Stacey Facilities and Waste Operations Director. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
