KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 4, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge a contract between Kittitas County <br />and Flock Group, Inc, for adding Flock cameras and the data-sharing capabilities of this <br />system in Kittitas County. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: 60-month contract for (10) Flock Safety LPR (Falcon) cameras, (1) <br />Flock Safety Operating System. <br />The interagency communication and information sharing capabilities of the Flock system <br />reduces redundancy of efforts by law enforcement agencies at critical times in criminal <br />investigations and public safety crises. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved this contract. <br /> <br />Command staff have met with Director of Information Technology, Director of Public <br />Works, and County Engineer to discuss potential impacts or concerns and have approval <br />to move forward with the current contract. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge a contract between Kittitas County and Flock <br />Group, Inc for (10) Flock Safety LPR (Falcon) cameras, (1) Flock Safety Operating <br />System. <br /> <br />HANDLING: No Handling <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Inspector Whitsett
