<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 4, 2025 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Public Hearing to Re-consider the Ranch at Swauk <br />Creek Development Agreement (DA-24-00001) as <br />amended to correct scrivener’s errors regarding parcel <br />numbers and statutes as recommended by the Kittitas <br />County Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve the amended development <br />agreement and coordinating Resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On January 21, 2025, CDS staff requested to set a public <br />hearing for February 4th, at 2:00 p.m. for the Board of <br />County Commissioners to re-consider the Ranch at Swauk <br />Creek Development Agreement ( DA-24-00001). The <br />Ranch on Swauk Creek Development Agreement was <br />originally approved on September 17, 2024, through <br />Resolution 2024-165. Subsequent review identified <br />scrivener’s errors regarding parcel numbers and statutes. A <br />lengthy discussion with our Prosecuting Attorney resulted <br />in a recommendation to make these corrections and hold a <br />hearing for successive approval. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas County Community Development Services <br /> Department (CDS). <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve Amended Development Agreement DA-24-00001 <br />and Adopt the coordinating Resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Amended Development Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Chad Bala, Director <br /> <br /> <br />
