Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 4, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Thorp Landing Plat (LP- <br />23-00001 & LPF-25-00001). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Preliminary Plat was approved by the Hearings Examiner on July 5, 2023 with <br />findings of fact and conclusions of law as required by KCC 16.36 and KCC 16.12. <br />The plat covers approximately 54.396 acres accessed via Thorp Highway. <br /> <br /> The applicant submitted the final plat application on January 3, 2025, requesting final <br />mylar approval for the Thorp Landing Plat. This Plat creates 10 lots from the existing <br />2 lots. The proposed lots range in size from 5.00 acres to 8.64 acres. Staff reviewed <br />the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds that it is consistent with the <br />preliminary approval documents. The mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing <br />departments, and all signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public <br />Health, and Assessor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Thorp <br />Landing Plat (LP-23-00001 & LPF-25-00001). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for Thorp Landing Plat (LP-23-00001 & LPF-25-00001), Hearings <br />Examiner decision LP-23-00001. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jamey Ayling, Planning Manager
